2019: MSCA SPORT WEEK ACTIVITIES

The Mass Communication Student Association of University of Lagos’ Sport week came up between 2nd of May and 8th of May at the sport center. The activities that took place within those days were football, athletics,tennis, volleyball, and various types of indoor games. None was left out as both male and female participated in all events.

In preparation for the football games, there was a 5 aside tournament between all levels. It also took place at the university sport center on the Sandy pitch behind the volleyball court. Each level comprising 2 teams each and a total of 8 teams from 4 levels with a total of 8 matches and finally one winner.
The year one students who actually proved themselves to be ‘gaints’ at the main competition made it known at the 5 aside tournament that they had a show to put up. Year 4 came overall winner with the gold medal, year 1 in the second place and year 2 with the bronze medal. The whole tournament came up within a day end the new winner of the 5 aside was crowned on the 26th of April 2019.
